I’m just writing a quick informal note as a kind reminder on the virtue of patience. There is no asset more important Patience in markets. I am sending this reminder at a time when there can be a fear of missing out among people due to markets skyrocketing.
There is absolutely no reason to have FOMO. Markets are open 250 days a year. Practice an abundance mindset. There are opportunities literally everywhere.
On a stock-selection basis, this week has been tremendous for some of our longer term ideas/calls.
+10% on Oracle post earnings
+10% on Adobe post earnings
+10% on Broadcom post earnings
The most important thing I have to say is that these moves took time to form and take place. I didn’t guide on these stocks the day before earnings and then it skyrocketed the next day. I’m unable to do that.
My stock ideas need time/room to work. Literally just give it a few months. I do not need my members to “wait years” for an idea to work. Intermediate-term investing aims to get outcomes within 3-6 months.
I also have to remind readers that my win rate is about 65%. I will lose in roughly 1 out of 3 ideas even after 3-6 months. I will not win them all, and cannot possibly do so. However, the net result of ideas shared is typically very much in our favor when given time to work.
Those who have deep patience among my Community stand to benefit tremendously.
If you have feelings of FOMO, whisper to yourself: I must be patient. There will be more opportunities.
And I will help you find them.
My language when sharing my Daily Plans will be very simple to understand. You do not need a finance/investing background to understand what I’m doing and benefit from my research.
All you need is an open mind and that special quality: Patience
:)
