Back in July, I posted a poll on Instagram (please follow me btw) asking whether our friends here believed that I would be able to close the gap between my Strategy and the Nasdaq Composite (not the QQQ ETF) at any point in 2023. Then, the Nasdaq had led me by 10 full percentage points (31% vs. my 21%).

60% of the poll respondents believed that I would be able to pull it off. They recognized how difficult it may be, yet they chose to believe that I could do it.

Fast forward a few months later, the group of folks who chose Yes have now been validated.

Nasdaq Composite is now up 24%, and I’ve finally taken the lead at 24.5% and we are widening our gap against the S&P 500 by more than 14%.

Nasdaq is still doing very good, but this rolling correction has been intense.

This entire month’s intense correction (and the topping pattern from Summer 2023) was an incredible opportunity for me to demonstrate defensiveness and extreme care with stock selection to identify the safest areas of the market to position within.

And while of course this selloff leaves absolutely no one unscathed, I am determined to help our entire Community keep, preserve, and protect the hard earned gains from 2023.
