Note: This note is a good read even for existing members even though it is geared towards my public readership.
Hey there,
Just a friendly reminder that our last special offer for the year until Christmas/New Years will expire tonight at midnight. And there are 6 spots left at this special price.
I would strongly encourage existing monthly members to do this to get the best deal possible (as it saves almost 50% from monthly).
I want to re-emphasize a couple perspectives about my Community in bullet point form below. The following info is a good refresher of expectations for both my existing members AND new interested folks.
I will share some personal stats so that by understanding my style, you can decide whether my Strategy aligns with yours (and whether I am a suitable Strategist for you).
My win rate on Stock Ideas shared is about 65-68%. I WILL lose on about 1/3 of my ideas in the timeframe that they were intended. This must be well understood and accepted before joining my Community. I often give out lists of ideas, and some people will ask me “what about this one that went Red”? There will always be 1/3 that simply don’t work. I say that now.
Over a larger sample size, I’ve found that my biggest strength is usually my guided entries. My biggest personal weakness is that I usually sell too soon.
Over time, I’ve realized that my profit attribution looks like this:
60% of my personal trading profits comes from intraday trading NQ (and ES to a lesser degree).
30% of my trading profits come from intermediate-term Stock and ETF Selection and Sector Rotation (across a variety of sectors, but typically the tech sector). This is Direct Shares or Long Calls.
10% of my trading profits come from Selling Puts when the opportunity presents itself.
Most people in my Community care about my intermediate-term/long-term stock-selection and options ideas. Knowing this, I tend to focus more of my attention to add value in this area.
I understand that most people cannot Intraday Scalp the market given their work responsibilities.
The characteristics of members that are most successful in my Community are those who have the following qualities (in order of importance):
Deep Patience
A Long-Term Orientation/Perspective
A Reasonable Level of Risk Tolerance
The goal in our Community is to focus on being the best possible trader/investor that we can train ourselves to be. I will share as much education in an integrated fashion as possible to help my members get better at understanding stock-selection with DCF Conclusion Studies.
As I said in my last note about this special offer, I am not really interested in “beating the S&P 500 or Nasdaq-100”.
I am interested in improving myself - every single day.
My focus is purely on Absolute Return and being Green on any given year.
I believe that if we focus on finding the best versions of ourselves in terms of mindset, perspective, and execution we will find our own definition of success in the markets.
Our mindset should not be on whether we beat the market. It should be centered around questions like:
Did we learn a new skill that is repeatable?
On average, did we get better at finding entries?
If our goal was to exit at a defined level, did we actually follow through?
Were we able to contain our emotions at pivotal moments?
Are we able to do analysis that makes sense and aligns with what the market does?
If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, you are adding substantial more value to yourself than simply outperforming the market.
Outperforming the market is not really an achievement (it doesn’t help us grow as a person). It’s simply an end result. An end result that is culminated by the (more) important answers to the questions above.
I view the stock market as one big journey that is a test of our mind (and capital of course). And I love this game. I hope I get to share this passion with you inside our Community.
6 Spots Left at special entry. Until Midnight.
